(Statistics and Demographic Data)

The Forever Fabulous CHICKENHAWKS Showband & All-Star Revue is a hand picked group of musicians from Texas and New Orleans who have played with many major artists (Tom Jones, Dr. John, Blood Sweat & Tears, ...) and are a Who's Who of Texas-Louisiana roadhouse R&B.

The 12 members include the Hawks leader 'Cadillac' Jack Calmes (guitar), sax player Jon Smith, member of the Louisiana Boogie Kings (!) and Edgar Winter's White Trash, 'Blue Lou' Marini of Saturday Night Live and the Blues Brothers, Tommy 'Hunk of Funk' Young (B3 organ), Andy Michlin (piano) and last but not least lead singer 'Big' Luther Kent, a national treasure from New Orleans.

Recorded live on April 9, 2001, in Dallas, Texas, this is music for true blues lovers and those who appreciate great horn, keyboard and guitar solos from an amazing group of seasoned pros.
