"I've been a Flying Pickets fan since I heard the song *Wide Boy* on British radio 17 years ago. I thought that they'd only made the one studio album ("Lost Boys" 1983); after all the current Flying Pickets lineup doesn't have a single one of the original group in it. Then I discovered this album made 11 years later with 5 of the original 6 members (Rick Lloyd who wrote many of my favorite songs on "Lost Boys" isn't here). I've been playing it almost constantly since it arrived. Most of the songs are covers including a version of Nirvana's *Smells like Teen Spirit* that is dark and clear. There's also some terrific doo wop with *Tracks of My Tears* and *Wonderful World*. They also rerecorded their 2 top 10 (British and European Charts)hits in versions closer to the live performance that I saw. My 2 favorite covers are Terence Trent D'Arby's *Sign your Name* and the Beatles *Here There and Everywhere*, but then I've always been a sucker for both love songs and David Brett's voice. Good music, great performers, sensuous harmonies. The best of acapella."
Is this the greatest a cappella album ever?

"In my opinion, this is hard to beat. The arrangements are inventive, the song choice excellent, and the production is superb. The group manage to both pay homage to the original recording and surpass it in musicality and fun.
Buy it - your ears will love you forever."
