"Florent Pagny is a great singer. Nobody denies his talent. So what's the use of rehashing other's songs with that stupid, inappropriate and trendy techno sound as background ? A sheer disappointment."

"Florent Pagny hasn't done a bad album yet - and "Recreation" keeps his streak alive. He lends to other artists' work his own touch and style - and his vocals are outstanding (as usual). Gainsbourg would be proud of 'Requiem pour un con' - and 'SOS Amour' is a mix of pop/disco/jazz that is better than the original. Great musicians - great production - great vocals - if you want to hear what Florent liked to listen to in his younger days and how he does them hommage, then this is the one!"
