"Flo Paris has a breathy voice with natural clarity, smooth falsetto and a subtle vibrato. Her songs speak about religious themes of humility, human doubt, and glorification. My favorite is the title track because of the strong melody, vocal phrasings and complex textures coming from the bgv's, acoustic guitar, violin trio, pipe organ, and mellotron. Second favorite is 'Not I' for its acoustic guitar and mandolin folk stylings, keeping the vocal up front and traditional. Crisp, clear and true. Highly recommended for both secular and non-secular listeners."
