"The first seven tracks here are from the Flamin' Groovies' first LP, a ten-inch self-produced affair that sold well enough to get Epic Records interested in them. Unavailable since then, except in used record shops occasionally, it's fun to listen to. The remainder are live tracks from the collection of lead singer Roy Loney. If this band is new to you, then listen to "Teenage Head" (also available on CD, thank Buddha) first. If you like that, then you'll love this collection."

"This is definitely the type of music to pull out of your collection when you need some cheering up! If you are disappointed at first because none of the songs are hits, listen again and you will start to have some favorites that you'll think should be hits, like the slide, or babes in the sky which would be a great song to listen to while peddling your bike around on a sunny afternoon. The final song is a real psychedelic live microdot which might just stick in your head like a moistened piece of peppermint hard candy."
