FIVE MINUTE RIDE, from Sacramento, CA, have been through a lot this past year since their their dear friend and guitar player passed away from a rare stomach virus but the band has endured. The passing of Alex Poole, was traumatic and left the band in a state of shock. Out of this emerged a new band with a dark message and a new meaning to what they call ?life.? The song ?Oh These Woeful Days? was the first song written since the death. It?s a gut wrenching tribute to their fallen friend.
