"Five-Eight has made an album with an emotional depth, a raw edge, haunting melodies, unforgettable songs. "The Good Nurse" will break your heart and make you glad you've got one to break."
Touched by a Weirdo

"...or by genius. Either way, this album is special in a way few current works are. And that's what this is, a WORK, as in something important, beautiful, labored-over, even a little grand. This is NOT a religious album by any traditional definition, but I believe it's informed with something very "Christian" -- in the true meaning of that word. This is the most empathetic batch of songs you're likely to have heard. And yet they rock, really, really hard. Five-Eight's other albums are well worth getting, but I have to admit, I have a hard time listening to them after The Good Nurse. They've ruined themselves for me!"
