"This band has gone almost completely unnoticed. Sometimes that's the way I like it. Unfortunately I need other people to like this so Stroke will make more albums full of superb music like this one. Their songs run the gamut. Listen to the samples and then buy the album. Tell your friends and repeat.... PLEASE!!!"

Hardcore for everyone

"Stroke is hard.. and not at the same time. They are hauntingly melodic and trancelike on many of these tracks. My "normal" friends who hate my music love this band & my hardcore friends are as stunned as I am. The 1st track is cheesy, but cute and 'Pandemonium'; "I'm not crazy. I'm not deranged. I am... I am... I am TWISTED!" is fun. But both are sophmoric. The theme that runs through this album is a simple story of life. Everything is sensual as We breathe 'out' and all of us are only 'Permanently Temporary' in this life.

On a wheel always makes me feel like a hamster,but it is melodic and driven.

my favorite song on this disc is always shifting. 'Feight Lines' is slow and very powerful. It leaves you hanging, numb at the end.

I would have ended the disc with Godlike, but I don't have time to run the world, so I refuse to fix everything.



These guys are good. Very good... and the website listed on the CD is now a porn site. That is sad. Darkly comedic and tragic.



Great engineering. The balance of instruments and vocals build upon each other and produce a barely controlled intensity. The Bass driven compositions torment and excite. The sound; dark,soft,heavy,silly,sad. Is that life? yep....



'Out' is about breathing and being alive.

The CD shows you how to die.



Breathe in, breathe out;

Don't die....defy.
