"The album was released in 2001, and it is Fiorella Mannoia at her best. Belle Speranze, her previous album, is even better though. On the other hand, some songson the new album are more mature and the style is more consistent and monolithic. The best titles are Fragile and L'Assenza. The lyrics are good and deep and touching as always, and Fiorella's voice is as enchanting as ever. Overall, worth buying. It is a shame that they don't have samples of songs at Amazon. To check them out, go to Fiorella's website at www.fiorellamannoia.it"

"October 24th, 2001 I bought this CD on my visit to my sisters in Milan , Italy. I have a tendency to find an attachment to alot of Italian music since I was 6 years old -- I'm 38 now. It has alot to do with my Italian parents and my Father exposing me the music through his singing Italian all the time. Similar to one review someone gave-- you don't have to understand the lyrics to enjoy music. If you can feel the emotion that Fiorella puts into her works than you will enjoy every single she has. As for the musicians -- you can feel the emotion aswell , the color they create through the sounds made. The music Italians make for the most part, you will always be able to find the beauty that the artist is expressing from their heart and soul. Maybe , it's just me, but I can't compare CD's better than one or the other. Each has it's own character that may be an evolvement from the last. A person matures and they do something different based on how they may feel at the time and how they may relate emotionally to the piece at hand.
I love you Fiorella! God bless you and the gift you were given.
Thanks for reading."
