"What I Like most about the Final Fantasy Series is its music. That's what keeps me going back for more. When most people think the game isn't up to par, I don't mind too much becuase I am drawn more to the music. Here is the track listing since the site has not done so.Disc One

"This is the full IMPORT OST. Just check out how many songs it has on it. I purchased the smaller Domestic copy before i realized what i was getting into. I immediately turned around the found this copy to purchase. The music is fully orchestrated for the several pieces, some with smaller chamber ensembles. But on a whole i could tell that a lot was synthizised. The style of Final Fantasy X was leaning towards a more pop culture than it has ever before. FFX was no longer dealing with the Knights, Dragons and Black Chocobos that FF4 included, nor the classical style of FFIX. The game itself had so many new things in it that the soundtrack had to have some new things, including the Otherworld (Zanarkand Blitzball Theme / Battle with Jehct Theme). One of the best things i have found with this soundtrack are the overworld themes, the world map music so to speak. Such as the Besaid theme, the Thunderplains theme ... Such themes are perfect mood music to just have running in the low background for almost any occasion. The soundtrack also has the Song of the Faith from each of the Aeons, including Yunalesca's version, the Ronso Tribe version. Suteki Da Ne (Isn't it Beaufitul) comes in two versions, all the specialized battle themes, such as the final battle with Seymour, and Yu-Yevon's final bout.It's great, has some really good music on it. And the Chocobo Theme from FFX is one of the best Chocobo themes out there, right up there with the FFIX chocobo theme."

"These 4 CDs is sure awesome, but if you buy at Amazon, it is sure expensive, you can either buy at Amazon Japan or us.yesasia.com (like I did), the price is a lot cheaper (save about 20 bucks from your pocket). Trust me!"

"I was originally looking at the full OST from Final Fantasy X but my wallet couldn't accomodate my refined palette - thus, my gaze fell up this CD, for only 15 bucks! I clicked on it and checked it out.Not only is the CD affordable, but it contains some of the best tracks of the OST. My only gripes are that they chose to include some of the, uh, 'less-good' tracks instead of the totally kewl Auron Theme, and Suteki da Ne is only orchestral, instead of the full version. If you can get the 4-disc OST, do so now! If not, grab this sampler...or play through the game again."

What makes a Final Fantasy game?

"Some say its the storyline. Some say its the battle system. Other say its the character involvement. Other would argue replay value. But to me, its the music that keeps me comming back. FF7 was the first FF I ever played - and while the game was oddly strange and hard to get into; I found myself going to sleep humming MIDI tunes in my head. The games music was addicting and strangly kept me comming back, only to get totally sucked in and completly engulfed into one of the - if not argueably the best- RPG's ever to grace a screen.

FFX is again, another classic game. Some would argue that it's actually better then FF7. In some regards it is - theres no denying that. One aspect is defintally its music. FFX has beautiful music - real ochestra's and piano's. Real feeling to it, 'specially if you played the game all the way through. First time I heard "To Zanarkand" (the games main opening theme music) I knew right away I was gonna love the music in this game - and the storyline. Listening to tracks like "Bisaido Island" takes me back when the game first started and you meet the innocent Lady Yuna, who is now ready to embark and her epical journey across Spira. The different versions of the " Hymn of the Fayth" reminds me of the excitement of getting a new Aeon. "Luca" reminds me of meeting Auron (the games best character IMO) and the journey through and memeries of exploring Luca. "People of the North Pole"; one of my favorites, draw back to mine hours of powerleveling so I could be strong enough to beat one of the hardest versions of Seymour (villian ingame). Everytime I hear the song "Challenge" I instantly think of the frustration of battling Lady Yunalesca - and who could forget the beautiful "Someday the Dream Will End" when Tidus meets up with his father for the last time before the game ends and Sin (the main Villian) is completely destroyed.

Memeories are captured in the music - and that to me is what makes a FF game worth playing."
