"This album is a pouring out of the soul... a fun CD to cruise with, dance with, love with, etc. I'd call the singer/saxophonist "The Ruler" anyday! It's too bad this band no longer exists, they play some great music and keep it real."
Excellent cd

"These guys are great. The CD consisted of so many variations of sound, with some great beats, horns, and terrific vocals. They are the next best thing to Sublime! This is a must for any music fan!"
Awesome

"If you are looking for a ska cd, look somewhere else because this is not your typical "ska" band. These guys are directly influenced by Sublime hence being on "Skunk records" and similarly to Sublime, Filibuster cannot be put into any one genre.
As for the cd itself, most of it is very upbeat and fast ska with punkish lyrics. The sax/singer is very talented with a very unique, distinct, and strong voice. Awesome album."
Everything you Sublime fans should really listen to

"Filibuster mixes up a various combination of music styles, mostly rooted in rocksteady and hip hop. Unlike most bands who try to mix things together, Filibuster do it with authenticity, style, and most of all, soul. They don't fall into the formula of all the ska-punk bands out there, and aren't afraid to experiment. They're singer/saxaphonist has a great voice and great singing style, and comes damn close to blowin' like jazz hero Coltrane at times. my only complaint is that the turntablist isn't used as much."
