The opener, "Watching over Me," and the praise-and-worship anthem "We Sing Alleluia" capture this essence well. The third time's the charm!

"Very rarely does a band sound better than ever on their third album, but FFH has done just that with their new CD, Have I Ever Told You. Although both of their first two albums were great, their second (Found A Place) didn't really sound any different from their first (I Want To Be Like You). This time, they took a few more risks and came out with an edgier, more produced sound. But don't worry, old-school fans will not be disappointed -- HIETY is filled with the same tight harmonies and praiseful lyrics as are the first two CD's. But they can expect to be pleasantly surprised throughout the CD. Some of the songs that stand out are "We Sing Alleluia", a powerful worship song backed up by a choir; "Millionaire", which has an acoustic folk sound; the moving ballad "Before It Was Said", which features a string orchestra; and the fun-filled "Astronauts", an energized rocker with a few touches of electronica. You won't find any filler on this CD; each song has something special. The lyrics are very uplifting and powerful, as usual. The bottom line: HIETY is definitely FFH's best CD yet, which is saying a lot considering how good the first two were. I highly recommend this one whether you are already a fan of FFH or have not yet discovered their music."
One of the best Christian Music CDs ever, from any band!

"This is the first CD by FFH (Far From Home) that I have purchased. I am so glad I did! Every song on the CD is great, but my favorites are "Open Up the Sky" and "On My Cross." "On My Cross" actually caused me to cry tears of gratitude at the depth and scope of God's love. God will use the music here to challenge you, encourage you, and draw you to Him. If you are looking for great Christian music, buy it. You will not be dissapointed, especially if you are an FFH fan.God loves you!"
Another GREAT One!

"I must admit I was anxiously anticipating this CD's release so I might be a little biased. However, after just a few times listening, I am already singing the choruses in my head. One of my favorite things about this group's sound is its strong use of acoustical guitar. This CD adds to that sound with piano and strings, but does not take away from that original sound I had come to enjoy. Their acoustical roots are strongly evidenced here, but enhanced by the new additions. I can't pick a favorite song yet as they are all good. "Watching Over Me" and "Open Up The Sky" are terrific, while the lyrics to "On My Cross" move my heart to worship as I am sure they were intended. This group crosses generational lines to provide a common denominator for parents and children of all ages. With this CD, my kids and I do not have to argue over what to listen to. I highly recommend this CD."

"Once again FFH (Far From Home) has hit paydirt with their third CD. The tight vocals and willingness to have fun is just one reason that this like the other FFH albums are just a wonderful introduction to the world of Adult Contempoary Christian Music. If anyone is looking to get into this genre of music as a fan, but is a little unsure what Adult Contemporary Christian Music is, this would be a wonderful introduction. The messages in the music are simple, Jesus Christ is the answer. This is not Sunday Praise and Worship, this is praise music that you can play while driving down the highway turned way up. Thanks FFH for keeping it simple and real."
