An Energetic Journey Through Contemporary Trance

"DJ Ferry Corsten, perhaps best known for his work on Ministry of Sound's Trance Nation series (where he is billed as System F, one of his many aliases/projects along with Moonman, Gouryella, etc.) delivers an exhilarating mix of high energy trance. Corsten, like his stylistic contemporaries DJs Tiesto, Tandu and Armin Van Buuren, specializes in uplifting mixes of intense yet melodic music that manage to elevate your spirit along with your heart rate. Unlike Tiesto and Van Buuren (but very much like Tandu), the quality of his mixes tends to vary considerably. This mix is one of his best. Tracks 2 (Perpetuous Dreamer's Sound of Goodbye) and 9 (Luis Paris' Incantation) are particular standouts."

"As I read through some of the reviews on this title, I became very frusterated. All this talk about how this CD is a year too late, and how this sound has come and go. Whatever!!!!! Think about it. . .I was currently on a trip around the U.S. and as I tuned into the local radio stations (Electronic) I started to notice that, in all actuallity, these songs sound a lot like the songs I've been listening to on my Ferry Corsten CD. Wait a minute, they are!!! Trance, Tech-Trance, Hard Trance and Deep Trance are just getting started. Ferry Corsten brings us this wonderful mix, that transitions in and out of many, many different types of Trance. He beautifully crafts every part of HIS Trance to take you into a different world. I couldn't help but get up and dance when I first heard "Tenth Planet::Ghosts"!!! I loved this CD!"

"This one is not quite as good as the sequel,Ibiza but like any Ferry mix,it's mixed well and flows good. This album has a few more trance anthems than the second one.It seems as if "the sound of goodbye" is on every trance cd nowadays. There is also one track,"needlejuice"I believe it's called that drags, and basically leads to nothing. My favorite track on here has to be "im in love",it has a bad ass beat to it.Furthermore,if your a dance fan you will get this cd."
