"...Proof that while some people should refrain from inflicting their boudoir musical moments on the world, others definitely should not!" - SPLENDID Recorded in a makeshift theatre on minidisc and 8-track 1/4" tape with an array of instruments (including a wheezy old pump organ and a souped-u'70s synth), Beading the Rook is culled from several hours' worth of theatrically oriented music. Some of the tracks were recorded as essentially live performances, while others are layered fantasies - settings and catalysts to the amusements of marionettes, fishing tales and swishing tails.
