Album Description"Seattle's FCS North continue to blur the lines between highbrow rock and hedonistic dance music." - THE STRANGER "With their eponymous debut and its aquatic overtones afloat between Weather Report, To Rococo Rot and LTJ Bukem, Pacific Northwest post-rockers FCS North prove themselves fluid." - XLR8R 10 tracks that blend old FCS with new FCS! With live energy, Japanese hip-hop & more vocals, Say Go was produced with the dancefloor in mind. This direct follow-up to the 2004 FCSSA EP continues FCS North's energetic style of inspired drumming, rolling low bass, funky italo guitars & clipped synths. Say Go might come as a surprise to longtime FCS North fans. There are vocals, the kick drum will ruin your speakers and the keyboards, no longer ambient, might threaten your stereo. But whether you're breaking a sweat or listening with headphones, the rhythm, groove and epic songs are all still here. The band's method of cut-up playing and samples continues to push forward. Andy Sells and Joshua Warren started FCS North in 1997. Mune Yamakawa moved to Seattle from Tokyo and has been playing/producing with Sells and Warren since 2001. Members of FCS have spent time in Satisfact and United Schach Corporation, and DJ'd as AMS + Mugfrosty and FSCS. The group has toured and shared stages with DJ Krush, !!!, Modest Mouse, Garage a Trois, Ztrip and Kid Koala.
