"If you are expecting the quality of most of the Three Tenors albums (although in this case, there are only two), you will be gravely disappointed.The Pavarotti selections have extremely poor sound quality, and in many instances, there is more choral work than solo tenor singing. The Carreras selections fare somewhat better, but neither tenor is in good voice on this album. This CD is cheap, and this is one instance in which you get exactly what you pay for."

"I'm sure the recordings were good before the laserlight engineers got hold of them. The sound warbles and fades in and out on most selectons. Too bad, because the music would have been good otherwise."
