"The album won the 1999 Canadian Juno Award for blues bands, joining other category winners including Barenaked Ladies, Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Byran Adams, etc. Fathead beat out the great Colin James in the process which speaks to the quality of the CD.This is a 'happy' bluesy album, one which won't deepen a morose mood. I was left with a sense of uplifting, a feeling of camaraderie, a spiritual refreshment. Being partial to harp, I was delighted by the great work of Al Lerman, who also plays a fine, creative sax. John Mays gives us wonderful vocals, spanning the range from spiritual to funk.Blues Weather is a hidden jewel.-Glen Jones-"
