With I Found Lovin' The Fatback Band confirmed their status as a soul band capable of crossing over into pop chart territory. It came as little surprise to their army of fans who'd been following them since their early funk records had got feet moving in the clubs. And it would be evolving club culture across the pond and in Europe that would influence and in-turn be influenced by this group of skilled musicians. Take the track 'King Tim III (Personality Jock)' for example, many consider it to be one of the earliest Rap records and highly influential in the development of that global phenomena. Then there's the Funk/Electro hybrid 'Is This The Future' and the party anthems 'Do The Bus Stop' and 'Double Dutch'. This album features 20 classic tracks by these original 70's Funksters.
