Faron Young as he sounded in his concerts

"This is the only live album Faron Young recorded, as well as being his last album. It contains the style of singing he used in his shows, frequently a more relaxed and Dean Martin-ish performance than on his records. It also includes his off-the-cuff patter and politically incorrect jokes. This is Faron as his audiences saw him, without being filtered through media restrictions. The musicians were the final group of Country Deputies, and they sounded wonderful--especially Ernie Reed on fiddle.
I've listened to numerous Faron Young recordings while researching his life to write his biography. Nothing comes close to matching his live performance except this CD."
