"I took this CD out of my library just today and decided I have to own it. I have never heard harmonies like this - they sound almost medieval; minor and major weave together in a musical tapestry that makes you want to weep. Listen to this as you read, "Irish Hunger" and you just may feel the presence of your celtic ancestors whispering in your ear."

Dolores at her best

"Of my many Dolores Keane recordings this is perhaps my favorite, with the possible exception of "Broken Hearted I'll Wander." Dolores Keane's singing is enough to stop you in your tracks, especially on the title track. Her husband John Faulkner is no slouch either, and their harmonies are to die for. Eamonn Curran is also an excellent uillean piper. All in all a well rounded, great recording. I wore out the album and now we'll see if I can do the same to the CD!"
