A soft landing in a shadowed place

"Anything involving Dru Allen and Victoria Lloyd is a *go* for me. Within Zorko's soundscapes, they and the other featured singers ease away from indie rock and darkwave towards soothing ambience. It's not sonic Nyquil, though; the vocal dynamics and trip-hop beats break up the infinite reverb.
The gentle layers of minor-key sound form a drifting cloudbank, hazing the moon at 3 a.m. The album is a great fit for fans of This Mortal Coil and early Lycia. There's emotion, but no rush or urgency. (We'll get there when we get there, my love...just stay beside me along the way...) The digi-pack has a little pocket for the insert, like the folders we used in high school. Other Fossil Dungeon CDs have the same format, and it's pretty cool.
There is a similarity among the tracks, with the key difference being the presence or absence of a drum track. So, instead of listing my favorites, suffice to say that "Touch" is *perfect* for an evening nap, a late night with someone close, or a bubble bath surrounded by candles.
Yeah, I just read that last sentence. I'm going to go lift weights and work on my car and yell at the Olympic figure skaters on TV."
Massage for the mind, rest for the soul

"John Zorko yet again manages to bring together a choice set of vocalists, combined with his talented instrumentals, to create another installment of wonder from Falling You.
Touch is an album to listen to in the quiet times when all of you needs to rest, to relax. This is not music to work to, but rather music to sip wine with, to close your eyes and meditate, floating along the stanzas.
Touch will carry you gently on a journey, and bring you slowly back down to the ground when the album ends. As anticipated, it's amazing."

"Words that come to mind when I listen to Falling You (Touch): Sublime, unearthly, soothing, haunting. I discovered this disc by accident. I've tried to tell others about it, but it's so hard to describe that you just have to hear it to understand. My thoughts are that it captures the atmosphere from some of Loreena McKennit's work, some rawness and honesty from EARLY Sarah McLachlan, a hint of the weirdness of Dead Can Dance, and a smidgen of electonica and ambient music. A definite must have."
Extraordinary journey

"Can't say enough about this album! Some New Age music lacks soul without vocals, others the vocals ruin the mood. Falling You has a female vocalist that is not of this world. Haughting and beautful, her silky voice flows through each tune. This is by far is the best "New Age" type album I have."
An Excellent Ambient Album

"I was very excited when I heard Touch by Falling You. I receive a lot of cds on a regular basis from artists seeking airplay on a radio program I host. 90% of what comes in is mediocre or worse. About 10% of what I get is great to amazing in quality; Touch falls within this category of excellent cds that I have received in the six years of doing my program. The cd has a This Mortal Coil feel to it (but mainly on a soothing level as TMC can be loud and jolting at times). If you like soothing, relaxing, and soulful music that has substance check out this album. Note that each of the compositions are distinct and hold their own while they maintain an ambient feel overall. It is a wonderful cd!"
