Product Description
Fabian would find greater success as an actor, but during the late 1950s he was projected as something of a teen idol, helped by a string of hits and numerous appearances on American television. Whilst never the greatest of singers (indeed, his career effectively came to an end amid allegations his recordings had been doctored to hide his voice) he had a presence that appealed across the board. Nostalgia for me
Joe Stafford | Rancho Mirage, Ca | 07/29/2010
(4 out of 5 stars)

"If Fabian had average "looks" he would never have become a teen idol. He had the look, unfortunately, he did not have the voice. He actually had a difficult time staying "on key." So why did I buy this album? Nostalgia! I remember when Fabian had some hits. I liked a lot of his songs like "I'm a Man", "Turn Me Loose", "Tiger", "About This Thing Called Love", "String Along", and "The Love That I'm Giving to You." IMHO this album has two good songs - "Remember Me" and "Any Old Time." Neither was released as a single from this album. As a matter of fact none of the songs on this album were released as singles. There are no hits on this album but everytime I play it I go back to 1959 and the 7th grade. My buddy Mike told me he bought this album and I went over to his house after school to listen to it. Memories are great!"
