"Daniel Gawthrop is an excellent example of accesible music. His music is driving, emotional, and rewarding, all while still providing a fresh look into the world of organ music. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, there is organ music written after JS Bach died. There is a nice variety in the music, ranging from the delicate pieces like the Chorale, to the full and powerful Finale to the organ symphony "O Jerusalem." The music is beautiful, and Mary Mozelle is a fantastic performer. You will love this disc for sure. Also, if you love this one, there is another disc by Dr. David Pickering that contains an entirely different set of Gawthrop's music, with only the "O Jerusalem" repeated. Go for it!!"
