A THRILLING RECORDING

"...in my opinion this is an absolute 'must have' for anyone who loves listening to a thrilling mezzo-soprano. The Philharmonia of Russia, conducted by Constantine Orbelian is a fine orchestra and the recording is of the highest order on both the Dolby Surround CD and hybrid multichannel SACD versions.
The first track, "Acerba volutta" from Adriana Lecouvreur is so beautiful that I played it repeatedly before I could go on to the rest of the disc. Every last note is amazing."

First class mezzo.
