"I have know idea why it took me so long to review one of the best CD's cds 2010. This album picks up where its predecessor left off and takes it to a whole other level. For me the whole project is about "Out Of My Mind, Just In Time". Amazing song, in fact if there were no other song on the CD I would still be just as happy with this project. As a bonus, the rest of the songs are also engrossing, including the lead single "Window Seat", "Can't Turn Me Away", and "20 Feet Tall". It took me some time to understand "New Amerykah Part 1", but there was mo learning curve here. Keep the music coming Erykah..."

"I am very glad that I bought this album. After buying her debut pretty much as soon as it came out in 1997, I'd not bought anything new from her for years. I'd kept an eye out on her new singles here and there but I'd always play and enjoy Baduizm. Recently I was playing it far too often and decided that I needed some new Erykah, and took the plunge on the new album, not really knowing any of the songs. I'm glad i did as the album is fantastic: smooth, fun, quirky, and she really does speak to my soul. This is right up there with Baduizm and will be played regularly for many years to come."

"Erykah Badu has did it again; every song off this album is absolutely perfect! Badu delivers that Neo-Soul sound that she is known for with the same intensity as she had in "Baduizm." Badu's vocals are superb which is especially showcased in the Jazzy piano-driven ballad "Out my Mind, Just in Time." I really love how Erykah continues to evolve and mystify her musical style. This album will not disappoint."
Another masterpiece from Miss Badu!

"It has been worth a wait for the second part of Erykah's album! Only this time she is more soulful, reminds me more of her earlier albums,
but this one is more current in terms of her experiences, her feelings and music sounds alot different.
Artists have to evolve and grow, and thats exactly what she does. I know alot of people might say that this album is disappointing, because it doesnt
remind that much of old erykah, but you cannot be producing same music through centuries!
I like the way she is going and if you are not happy with the album, i suggest you go and listen to her live! She will mesmerize you with her voice!"
