Garner's First 16 Columbia Sides

"This CD contains the first 16 sides that the Erroll Garner Trio cut for Columbia back in 1950. It's a terrific CD! Contains beautiful versions of "Spring Is Here", "When You're Smiling", "I Cover The Waterfront", the title track, and 12 others. Sound quality is good too. One of my favorite CDs by this master of acoustic piano. Don't miss it."

"I bought this CD on one of the reviews. I found it very good candlelight music. I love Erroll Garner, but I wanted more lively playing instead of the steady right hand interpretations, though I still love all of it.I love Garner's left hand, and it stands out in his more lively interpretations. I will now buy "Body and Soul" because I just love his style.So far, his "Concert By The Sea" is his all time best. I know he had many other recordings and I want to get them."
