CD ReviewsA little insight 04/02/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "Erotic Exotic was the first band for Expose when Expose was called Exposed, that's how far back Erotic Exotic goes with Expose, before Eric Thompson was in the band. They were also the band for other local acts like Stevie B,and they were the band of Technotronic in South America, obviously they did not go by the name of Erotic Exotic, that's why this may not be known to some people. Back in the 80's there was a lot of track acts that performed with tape because Erotic Exotic was a real bad with real musicians, everybody wanted to hire them to play their music on stage.Giving them the opportunity to play with many talented artists. As a faithful fan of Erotic Exotic, I highly recommend their greatest hits, their sound is great and it truly takes me back to the 80's. Is really nice to hear songs that they only played live and they never got to record till now. Even though Erotic Exotic is no longer together and Eric Thompson is no longer with us, Eric Thompson and Erotic Exotic will always be in our hearts." Better well known facts about Erotic Exotic R. Zingaro | Miami, FL | 03/25/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "After reading [another] review, I have to stress that this band was NEVER the cover band for Expose. I don't know where [they] got their information ... it's false. The band formed during Miami's pubescent entrance into the genre of Freestyle. It wasn't until the addition of lead singer, Eric Thompson, when the band took off and paved the way for other bands such as Secret Society and Voice in Fashion. Their melodic beats and creamy vocals made this band an instant hit among Miami teens as well as the 20 & 30-something dance crowd. "Take me as I am" and "L.O.V.E." (their signature hits) still haunt dance clubs and parties from Miami to New York. This is a cd that every freestyle fan must own!"
