"I bought this LP back when it came out, because i was studying German in High School. Since that was at the height of the Krautrock movement, there was obviously much better material to pick from. I bought this, only because it was all in german. In fact, much of the album is spoken german over music backrounds, and lots of sound effects/enviormental sound. Basing an LP on german humor, can be annoying if you dont know german. Some of the music is of the OMPHA type, some sort of Kosmische. None of it really sounds much like Grobschnitt, if you are looking for that "PROG-ROCK" sound. Apparently much of the album's purpose was to either promote enviormentalism, or to have a laugh, as in "Das Irrsinlied", or "Prof. Senkelfuss". The dreamy type songs, with voice-over, include "Nebelwelt", and "Ich bin ein Lachen". In a word, I'd call it "KOOKY", ok? My guess is that Herr Eroc was going after a type of "ZAPPA" comedy music, but was only partially successful. Eroc, incidentally, has become something of a producer now, and is behind the production of all the newest GROBSCHNITT releases."
