"Great album. Melodic, complex, united and disjointed, transcendental. This is going next to Christian Scott, and Charlie Sepulveda in my fav's of current jazz. I don't like comparisons, but they help with expectations (sorry Erik): Miles (Bitches Brew) and Scott with flav's of Sun Ra, and a healty dose of fuzzed guitar work. A great ensemble, with each musician carrying their load of work - no tag along ala Kurt Rosenwinkel (who I enjoy, but tire of the guitar to horn over voicings). I will be following this dude for his career. Thanks Erik."
