"Now & Again without a doubt the best that Eric leeds has put together. Unfortunately, this album got virtually no air play in NYC. I picked this CD up on a chance when it was released and trust me it is worth it and then some!!! Eric Leeds goes through his whole bag of saxes, tenor alto & baritone."

"I've been following Eric Leeds' career since I first became a Prince fan in 1990. Since the Madhouse days (Prince's jazz-fusion band), Leeds has proven himself time and again to be an amazingly versatile musican capable of playing jazz, funk, fusion, rock and many other styles.This album has most of those styles all rolled into one, and still manages to maintain Leeds' style and finesse. This may very well be Leeds' best album (it is his third solo album thus far).Another particular highlight of the album is the drumming by Michael Bland. Well known for his work with Prince as well, I anxiously await his new album with the new band Sons of Almighty.Overall, a highly recommended album!"

"A solid album of contemporary jazz from Prince's former saxman supreme, Leeds gives us a record that's smooth, but not radio-poppish. His lines are complex yet accesible and his groove is right in front. If you heard his first record, "Times Squared", this one's got that touch, but seems a more solid, mature work; almost as if Leeds feels he has nothing to prove. Some other Prince sideliners show up to play (R. Peterson on keys and Michael Bland on drums), and you can tell these guys are having fun while smashign smooth jazz conventions. if you want to impress somebody with a hard-to-find record that rocks the recent sensibilities, check this one out."
