"As a huge Beastie Boy fan, I was psyched to see that percussionist Eric Bobo (as with Money Mark before him) finally had a solo album. This is a funky record with heavy percussion and some killer Latin hip-hop.
Fans of Beasties and Cypress Hill will definitely enjoy...."

"I received a promo of this album - and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. Eric Bobo- member/percussionist of the seminal west coast hip-hop group Cypress Hill, definitely has his point of view on this, his debut solo album. Son of famed Fania-label legend, Willie Bobo, Eric has grown up around influences flirting with hard-core hip hop, to rock, to hip-rock, and down to R&B, emo and drum & bass. One could say this album is everywhere, but when once you understand the Bobo story, it becomes a testament to the diverse influences Bobo has breathed since he first was featured on a track with his father at age 5. All in all, some of my favorites are "Apocalypse Now" [more hard-core Hip-Hop leaning, with a memorable performance from B Real], "M.O.T.M" [Latin-hop, featuring an old recording of Mr. Willie Bobo and the classic Tony Touch on the shout-outs], "Aqui Estoy" [R&B, laid back flutes and dreamy voice of guest singer Andi], and "Muevelo" [another Latin-laced hip-hop track with a strong bass-line]. This is truly a meeting of the minds!"
