What a disaster--they chose all the wrong remixers...

"Talk about a forced remix set. Pretty much nothing here captures the integrity of the original versions. Most of these tracks are extremely lackluster and already sound dated--like they may have been done in the 90s. There are so many brilliant remixers combining modern electro sounds with classic 80s synthpop--why weren't they hired to give Erasure's classics a fresh sound? Stuart Price, Tommy Sunshine, Jason Nevins, Cut Copy, Dave Aude, Bimbo Jones... Powerhouse tracks like A Little Respect, Stop and Drama have had all the energy sucked out of them here...Tragic."
Disappointing

"Have to agree with a few of the other reviewers. I love Erasure, but these remixes pale in comparison to the original tunes. Disappointing."
Very well done.

"It's amusing that someone mentioned the Pet Shop Boys as having better remixers, I think their recent ones are bloody awful!
This collection has more than a few tracks that make it worth the while. My favorites are the remix of A Little Respect (Koishii and Hush, hidden under the alias 'Avantara'), the pumping anthemic Sound Factory Remix of Fingers and Thumbs (Cold Summer's Day), and the playfully inventful re-working of Drama! by Andy Bell and JC.
Good stuff. A new Andy Bell album slated for the next release, and Erasure are getting together to write again this year. Erasure days are here again ... yet they never ever really left, did they?"
