"Erasure is by far my favorite (synth)pop group of all time. Their music is irresistably infectious and a constant joy to listen to. I have loved them since I was in college several years ago. My favorite Erasure song has to be "Don't Say Your Love is Killing Me" from the group's underrated "Cowboy" album. I just love how the group manages to combine melancholy lyrics with fun, upbeat pop melodies. Erasure also does some of the best cover songs I have ever heard. One of my personal favorites is their rendition of Blondie's "Heart of Glass". I didn't think anyone could succeed in covering a Blondie song but Erasure did and a very good cover at that. The remixes for "Don't Say Your Love is Killing Me" are really good I thought but then again I actually like the song. I really liked the Jon Pleased Wimmin Flashback Vox which gives the song more energy. Very euro-popish. The Tall Paul mix is good but doesn't really have that same energy that the Jon Pleased Wimmin Flashback Vox has. Still it is good in its alright. I was terribly disappointed that Erasure did not include this particular song in with their recent best of compilation, let alone a lot of songs from their more underrated albums (i.e "Erasure", "Cowboy", and "Loveboat"."
