"This collection provides an incredibly talented group of studio musicians, playing authentic arrangements, and recorded with the mastery that Enoch Light brought to all his projects. I first bought this recording (on vinyl) as a teenager and it remained one of my prized possessions. I was thrilled to find it on disk. If you like Big Band music, you can't go wrong with this CD."

"My grandmother had a lot of the titles on this album on 78 RPM records. You know how when you hear something you remember from a long time ago, it just doesn't sound the same or sound as good as you remember it? Well not this time! These people must have spent hours listening to the originals before they made this album because these are EXACT duplicates but in amazing stereophonic sound. I'd buy it AGAIN if I had to. Five stars isn't enough!"
