"Ennio Morricone is one of the best composers of the past 35 years, and certainly one of the top soundtrack composers. He made his mark early on with the spaghetti westerns, using guitars, harmonicas, that female voice, and a great ear for putting together various elements to create beautiful, lasting music. This collection is from various movie soundtracks and Morricone uses a similar love theme throughout, played with various elements, including the female voice, piano, orchestra, strings, etc. . Morricone is not avante-garde in his music, but he uses orchestrations to create different ways of putting together the music in fun and interesting ways. This is a fine collection of saccharine sweet love themes, that if you are a tad romantic at all will put a smile on your face and a twinkle in your heart."
