These eight CDs present music by William Byrd, Thomas Weelkes, Henry Purcell, John Blow, Matthew Locke, the little-known Pelham Humfrey, John Sheppard, and John Taverner--all recorded in Dorchester Abbey, Oxford, England, and sung by the Christ Church Cathedral Choir, Oxford's great all-male choir.
