"The song is a cool song. It states that no one should be exactly like Eminem. It also says children or teenagers can look up to him. This CD is only bad because of its curses but the edited version is very good I have baught one for bothe of my sons and they love it. I would like to thank Eminem foe making a good song for my children."

"I have to admit,"Real Slim Shady" get's to you.Its funny, and I'm also sick of the groups M+M raps about. That's all you hear on the radio,BackSteetBoys,N'Sync,Britney Spears,it starts getting boring.I've been hearing this rap song on the radio, and last night on a "Real World" show.I've never bought a rap record, but I have enjoyed some of the music, like "Bust a Move,"M.C.Hammer,alot of L.L cool J.'s music, and this song.I'm also glad there's a edited version for kids. The part about "Burger King"kind of makes me think.I guess I'll be doing my own cooking for now."

"I never really liked rap music. But I like Eminem's style, especially in the Real Slim Shady. Lyrically, it's got profanity and many other things that little kids shouldn't be exposed to. But, I loved this song! Eminem can really get all those lyrics together to make them sound good--into a really good rap. Overall, The Real Slim Shady is ultimately a fun song to listen to. I don't think people should take it too seriously, lyric-wise and all. I actually think Eminem is brave to cross the line and speak the craziest parts of his mind (stuff that may be inacceptable to our society). Anyway, it's pretty good."

"I found my copy in a FYE store, brand new, and still in the original shrink wrap. I bought this CD for the song Bad Influence.
The Real Slim Shady 10/10
Bad Influence 9/10, would be 10/10 if not edited.
My Fault (Pizza Mix), 10/10, basically the same song only he has the special mushrooms on a slice of pizza."
Potential - but no class

"The "Real Slim Shady" is a musically catchy song. Some of the lyrics are even quite funny. but then there is that language... I'm not sure what possesses an artist to include such explicit words and subject manner. I'm not dissing their constitutional right to, but it escapes me that any artist could actually think I would spend my hard earned money to be degraded auditorily. After all, I wouldn't allow my friends to talk "like that" around me, I certainly wouldn't pay someone to do it. It's actually kind of sad because I think this individual has some real talent and had the potential to make a positive impact on society. But instead, he choked. That's right, he's just another "shady" looking to make the money the easy way. And that just doesn't impress me. In my opinion, this guy has nothing on Will Smith, even though he imagines he does."
