"this is a classic elvis album that defies any logic but colonial parker's...there's no music on it, just elvis talking on-stage in-between songs...and why would colonial tom want to release an album of elvis talking...why not...he released lipstick, teddy bears, shampoo...this guy was a huckster from the get-go, and, no, i won't go into a lengthy diatribe about his total mishandeling of the king, because, if any good came out of it, it was this album...made primarily for the audiences in vegas (his second time around), ol' tom wanted to make everything over-the-top, with this album being just one of the many cogs in his presley-packaging...and it worked...the audiences loved him, and i loved this album, not only for it's 'uniqueness', but also for it's insight into the man between 'the king'...(and to think i actually still own this on vinyl)..."
