"Though not an Elton John fanatic, I was enthralled by this "fly on the wall" movie. Excellent concert footage mixed with behind the scenes documentary which leaves nothing to the viewers imagination. Bad language abounds, but it all adds to the magic of this no holds barred insight into one of Rock's most successful solo artists. Elton's tantrums are abundant but his performances on this documentry keep his tiara brightly sparkling. Excellent viewing, very highly recommended!"

"When Elton John said on this documentry that he wanted to do something different, he said it all. I've never seen anything as revealing as this one. This is a great tape if you are a Elton John fan or not. He says on the tape he was gald he had done this. Then why was it recalled? On this tape you will find Elton John to be at his best, and at is worse (hence the word"tantrums") There is never a dull moment on this tape. The tape itself was shot by Elton's life partner, and I think that it was because of this is why you will see Elton so candid. I actually feel that he forgot that the camera was rolling at times, perhaps this had something to do will the re-call of this tape? If you are able to get a copy of this tape, make sure that you get the director's cut because it really does have unseen footage and interviews, plus The Rio De Janeiro concert. The director's cut was never seen on the HBO Special and is a full two hours long. This gem is truly special, even if your not a collector."

A must for all Elton fans!
