Great sounding CD.

"This is an odd little comp as the track listing seems a bit random but it does include several great album cuts.

This CD is somewhat sought after because mastering guru Steve Hoffman was in charge of it. He only had the American copy tapes to work with but the sound is thick and full, unlike the recent SACD's that were EQ'd to be bright with pretty aggressive compression (for music of this vintage anyway). The bottom end on this CD is big and the dynamics are in tact.

It's a fun CD to listen to that isn't yet another rehashed Greatest Hits record."

"Remastered by Steve Hoffman of DCC gold CD fame, this little-known CD sounds great. The tracklisting may be a little puzzling, but getting Elton classics like "Tiny Dancer" and "Your Songs" on a CD that sounds THIS good makes it a steal. Highly recommended."
