Eligh's best album

"Sidewaysdaze, which was recorded in the span of one week (! ), is a very well crafted trip into the mind of Eligh. The production is the most consistent of any of his albums, and his lyrics and concepts never disappoint. In my opinion, this album is Eligh's best work, however it is closely rivaled by his previous set, "A Story Of Two Worlds". Definately pick up Sidewaysdaze if your open to poetic lyrics and creative concepts. On a side note, I don't know where they got these editorial reviews, but they don't have their facts straight at all. Eligh isn't a force behind Mystik Journeymen, although they both are part of the Living Legends crew. And this isn't his best work since Nightlife, since Nightlife is a single from an album that was released AFTER Sidewaysdaze. I've noticed similar mismatched facts on Grouch albums as well."

"sidewaydaze is an incredible masterpeice, considering the time eligh took to make it. much like his previous album, "story of 2 worlds", the beats will spark thoughts of fantasy worlds i.e. the hobbit. this album has an excellent balance of beats and lyrics whereas his later works are more beat oriented and his earlier works are more lyric oriented...a lovely cd...check it out"
Nice beats, thoughtful rhymes.

"Eligh is really a joy to listen to. The beats always have that punchy, minimalist Living Legends style, and the rhymes always have substance. Introspection and imagination pervade every track on this album. Buy it."
