"After owning all of Eligh's previous releases, this album feels like a summary of all his work together and really shows his talent as not just a rapper, but producer/poet/lyricist/ and positive role model in the hip hop scene.
What makes Eligh very well respected are his lyrics, though he raps them in a fast paced way, these lyrics are words that can be published in a poetry book, get you thinking and just gives you chills when you REALLY listen to it, that is what music is about.
His beats are also not just the same timed drum loop and same repeating beat, he switches the beat up on almost every song, making sure this cd will make constant rotation in your cd player.
This is not your normal hip hop album, and seeing that you are reading my review, you are looking for something different than the same music that is constantly played in front of your face. I strongly recommend this album, Eligh is one of the true musicians of our time, regardless of being classified as just a "rapper", eligh is more than that, he is an artist in every way, and you can experience it through this cd"
Amazing

"This is the most incredible hip hop album I have ever heard. Eligh's talents behind the mic are only eclipsed by the incredible beats he puts them to. I can see how some people will be slow to like his stuff, as some of my friends have been. Eligh takes you to a place musicaly where most hip hop listeners have never been before, but once you break the fear and really begin to listen and appriciate it for what it is, you'll bee hooked for life. This is an amazing album that you will in no way regret getting, and if you're a Legends fan you should be ashamed at yourself for not already having it. Peace"
A producer who can rap or a rapper who can produce?

"When I sat down and started to write this review I didn't plan on typing for more than 10 minutes, but as the minutes ticked by, I realized ten minutes would never justify the months Eligh spent making this album. It is simply phenomenal and an instant classic for any post Y2K hip-hop collection. Eligh has a writing abilty that clearly communicates a variety of abstract and even unimaginable subjects. Evidenced on dreamscape 7, Eligh assumes a 3rd person narrator in a variety of dreams from the past present and future. Sounds cool? Well, the beats will heat you up. Eligh's self produced beats match perfectly with his rapid rhyming style and make deciphering his intricate lyrics almost easy. With the exception of funk, start to finish this album is straight columbian dope and not a bad start to swooning an intellectual hip hop honey.
Nice to see another guy who knows good puget sounds.

"After reading the obviously favorable reviews of this cd and really liking Grouch and Eligh's No More Greener Grasses, I had to order it from Amazon. WOW. Awesome lyrics and enough intricate, bass heavy tracks to please anyone. Like other's have said, if all you know is Chingy and Nelly, well, chances are you might not "GET" this album. I won't say you won't like it because even if you don't understand it at first, the more you listen to it the more it will grow on ya. I consider this one of the best hip-hop cd's I own and that's saying something considering the size of my predominantly underground collection. You will not be disappointed if you pick this cd up off Amazon. Do it. Rep these skilled cats and let people know who the real mc's are."
