"Once again she's done it. Elida has taken tejano/latin music to new hieghts. From her previous album making the song "Duele" a favoriet amoung tejano club go'ers and adding the sounds of mariachi and slow rhythms to the song has given new meaning to the tejano scene. Now, with her new album she has given her listeners the opportunity to hear what singing from the soul sound like. This album is worth taking home."

"Elida Y Avante come out with another great, fun and fresh album, "No Eres Para Mi" It came out in 2001 under Tejas Records and has 12 amazing songs.

My personal favorites are "Y Que Ganaria", "Recuerdos" the sad and lovely ballads "Que Sera" and "Sigo Amandote", the fun,jumpy almost carribean sounding song "Me Gustas",and of course the beautiful, melodic song "No Eres Para Mi". I highly recommend this wonderful album to current and future Elida Y Avante fans and to anyone else, it's really that good!!!!"
