Great upbeat synthpop

"This is great, hook-driven synthpop. The emphasis is definitely on melody, with each and every song presenting a catchy little chorus that is bound to get stuck in your head. The instrumentation takes a back seat to the melodies, and the album doesn't acheive the awe-inspiring wall-of-sound effect of say, 90s Depeche Mode, Beborn Beton, or Wolfsheim. However, I find this easy to forgive, since I just can't stop singing the songs in the shower.Elegant Machinery ought to please any synthpop fan, and is bound to enjoy heavy rotation in the CD player of any Vince Clark fan, or fans of the A Different Drum label."
