"That's a quote from the album's opening track, just to give you an idea of what you're in for.
I first heard of Electric Six when I saw their video for Danger! High Voltage really late at night on MTV. It was so weird that I thought I was hallucinating. Since then I've hunted down all their music, and they've become one of my favorite bands. Their lyrics are hilarious, and their disco-metal sound is unbelievably catchy. I've seen them perform live three times, and they always put on a good show. I was really looking forward to this album, especially because of the ridiculous and extremely fitting album title. I purchased this album at their show in Chicago, where I was able to meet all of them and get their signatures. Not only are they very talented musicians, but they're also really cool people.
The album itself has quite a few instant classics, like Showtime, McDonnelzzz, Feed My Habit, and the White Train. The Green Building is a slower song that also has a great sound to it. At first, I would have said that most of the other songs fell slightly short of their 3 previous albums. But in all fairness, their other albums are pretty hard to beat, and now that I've listened to it about 10 times already, it's definitely growing on me. If you're already a fan, buy this album. If you're just curious, buy their first album "Fire." I promise you that you'll get hooked, and you'll end up buying all the other ones too."

"Hmm, Where to begin? I have listened to Electric 6 for a couple of years and their blend of Disco, Metal and Irony has pulled me through many a workout. ISEEAMTRMFBTM (Who wants to type the whole thing?) has proven that Electric Six remains one of the best workout bands on the scene today.
They are funny, smart and catchy. If you are intimated and are looking for one song to buy, get "Down At McDonaldz", it is poppy, rocky and it just might be the pinnacle of Disco Rock. With all of the boring rock out there, E6 is holding the torch for good (and I mean good), fun music."

"What a damned fine CD! E6 (Dick Valentine) are amazing, versatile, rock & roll geniuses! They just keep getting more diverse, tight and hilarious and pertinent with every record! Songs like It's Showtime and Down At McDonaldz jump out as early faves, but the deeper you go into the set, the better it gets, especially after a bunch of listens! Kukuxumusu, Lenny Kravitz, White Train and When I Get To The Green Building are amazing little ditties! I can't say enough about one of the great bands who have not attained mass appeal! That may be their strength, but they should get a shot on the radio and Letterman or something!! Anyway, buy all their CD's, you'll love them all!! You have to! They Shall Exterminate Everything . . ."

"I first heard The Electric Six on a college radio station. At first I was curious and now I'm hooked. This album sounds better LOUD and what makes it even better is that the music is fun and the band sounds like they are having a really good time performing it. I'm looking forward to receiving the other albums soon. I had a hard time getting past the 1st three tracks because I had to keep going back to listen again. Love it!!"
