"After the below average self titled Motown debut, El scored a winner win this one. Good songs, great melodies and hooks makes up this fine set. All 8 songs are worth the purchase. However, the standout cuts are, "REAL LOVE", "SOMEBODY LOVES YOU", "BROKEN DREAMS" and the beautiful heartfelt composition, "TURN THE PAGE"."

"I've always been a Huge El Debarge Fan.his first Album was generic.but this Album was on time."Broken Dreams" was the cut. He showcased the Marvin Gaye Influence on him fully here. this Cat has One of the smoothest Falsetto's ever. what always moved me the most about El Debarge is his sense as a Vocalist&Writer as a Strong Expressionist. the Man can really allow himself to sing what he is feeling¬ hold back. the lead off single "Real Love" was cool."turn the Page" is a strong cut as well. He also showcased his playing on Synth&Keys along with drumming on this Album. this Album showcased El Debarge as a Songwriter,Arranger&producer as a Solo Artist."
