"Sünde is not... one of those CDs you buy, and find your two favorite songs on and just play them all the time. This album is great. Whether you understand German or not you have to love it. Though, if you don't understand it, don't sing any songs you don't know the meaning of in the presence of a German, please. Heheh. I can't say how they'd react. But that goes for any song you don't know the meaning of, not just ones by Eisbrecher. Take my words from experience. I now study German. 8] Yeah, I said bad things.
I really love the song Herzdieb on this album. Al (the guy who sings it FYI) had admitted he cried on stage the first time he performed it for an audience. A real man to admit it, Id say. His voice is something out of this world. Herzdieb is just a work of art song, and though I hate to pick favorites, I have to give my heart to this one. (Cheesey pun note: Herzdieb means heart-theif...) It's also a song my Lehrer wouldn't mind me belting out in the middle of class. Not that I dare do that anymore...
Heilig is another great song. It has a great sound and my friend always does this dance to it when I play it. Not a song I'd show the teacher my english transelation for, but a great song none the less.
1000 Flammen got me by the neck, too. 8]"
This is Deutsch!!!

"Having already bought the Euro version of this cd back in September of '08 (and listening to it frequently), I can honestly say that this is not an album that you will grow tired of. The remixes and new track "Blut und Tranen" alone made it well worth the purchase price for me. I especially ejoyed the remix for "Alkohol". Eisbrecher never dissapoints. They keep getting better and heavier with each album. If you are a fan of NDH music or German metal in general, you should definitely consider picking this up."
Wonderful Album

"Eisbrecher is one of my favorite bands, and I have been waiting for the US version of this album to come out. I was definitely not disappointed.
The best tracks are, in my opinion, the title track ("Kann denn Liebe Sünde sein?") along with "1000 Flammen" and "This is Deutsch" (which is hilarious if you speak German, as it is arguably a parody of the gratuitous use of the language by people who don't speak it). I also liked the remixes, as they were the reason I was holding out for the American version of the album.
This is a must-have for those who like NDH or German metal in general, and something that people who only know of Rammstein can use to broaden their horizons a little."
