"Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for recommending Eileen Rose so highly. I risked spending the money and I was not disappointed one iota! What a beautiful voice, what wonderfully moving songs. I think anyone who likes alt-country like Ryan Adams, or indie-greats like The Walkabouts, or even country rock balladeers like Lucinda Williams would absolutely love this disc. I just can't wait for the next one."

I think she's the best songwriter to come out of Boston since Aimee Mann, and Shine Like Is Does is absolutely superb. Can't wait for the upcoming Long Shot Novena - it's sure to be one of the albums of 2002."
