Product DescriptionPerseverance Records is proud to announce the release of the music from the video game series, Silent Hill. The best music from the video game series ""Silent Hill"", one of the most successful video game franchises in the history of the business is featured on this 16 track album. This collection also features the song ""I Want Love"" with vocals by world famous Popera star Romina Arena. All tracks are composed by Akira Yamaoka, a Japanese music producer and former composer of soundtracks for the Japanese game developer Konami. The compilation features scores from Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Silent Hill: Zero, and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. All tracks have been arranged, produced and performed by Edgar Rothermich, a composer and music producer in the music and film industry (""The Celestine Prophecy"", ""Outer Limits"", ""Babylon 5"", ""What The Bleep Do We Know"", ""Fuel"", and ""Big Money Rustlas""). In 2012, Edgar recreated a well received score for the ""Blade Runner"" Soundtrack and he continues that here with The Best Of Silent Hill. Many of these themes are available for the first time outside of Japan, as these soundtracks used to be available only as expensive Japanese imports. ⢠Silent Hill is among the most successful video game franchises of all-time. ⢠The game series has spawned two feature films. Both were successes at the box office and on home video and on demand. ⢠Video game soundtracks sell very well. Nile Rodgers' label Sumthing Musicwerks is one of the most successful genre labels in the music business. He has released over 100 video game soundtracks with many more coming in the future.
