"I hadn't really heard Eddie Santiago's music prior to purchasing this album. The real reason I bought it was for one single off this album specifically. That song is "Que Locura Enamorarme" with Huey Dunbar and Eddie. If you have read my previous reviews of DLG and Huey's first solo album you will find that I have been following him for sometime. Anyway, this review is not about him! haha.... I was pleasantly surprised to find that many of the other cuts are quite good on this CD. The stand-out tracks are "Tu Me Haces Falta" with Elvis Crespo (who would've thought Mr. Suavemente himself--AKA the merengue man-- could also take on salsa!), "Lluvia" with Charlie Zaa (the Colombian king of romantic music), and "Todo Empezo" with Son By Four. Some of the lesser tunes are "Antidoto y Veneno" (I know this will probably upset some of you Victor Manuelle fans but I am just not feeling his voice...too nasal for my tastes....), and "Celebracion" (it just seemed a little silly...I know it is the intro track but it seemed a pointless to keep reiterating that it was the new millenium and all of that! LoL). All in all, this is a very danceable album and I have definitely heard some of these tunes at the clubs. Give it a listen!"
